Night Jasmine was inspired by the delicate fragrance of jasmine after dark, when the flowers seem to become part of the stillness around them. I wanted the music to reflect that quiet, almost dreamlike quality.
The piece unfolds through gentle melodic phrases and flowing piano textures, allowing the music to breathe and gradually develop. It is a small reflection on the beauty that can be found in the quieter moments of the night.
