Letting You Go

Some goodbyes don’t arrive all at once. They unfold slowly, one quiet moment at a time.

Letting You Go explores the delicate balance between holding on and learning to let go.
Through expressive melodies and spacious harmonies, the music creates room for reflection, healing and quiet hope.

There is sadness here, but not despair. Instead, the music gently reminds us that acceptance often arrives quietly, one step at a time.

Behind the piece:

Released • March 3 2026

Letting You Go emerged gradually, with each section reflecting a different stage of the journey.

The opening was composed when the decision to let go had finally been made.
The middle section came later, as the reality of that decision settled, and the emotion found its way into the music.
The ending wasn’t written until much later, when healing had quietly begun, and the piece naturally found its own sense of resolution.

Looking back, I realised I hadn’t just written a composition – I had documented a process.
Although it began as a personal journey, I hope the music leaves space for listeners to recognise something of their own within it.
