Sakura Skies was inspired by the remarkable beauty of the sakura trees that bloom for only a short time each spring. Their blossoms are celebrated not because they last, but because they remind us how precious fleeting moments can be.
That idea found its way naturally into the music. Rather than trying to paint a picture of blossom itself, I wanted to capture the feeling that arrives with the first signs of spring: optimism, renewal and the quiet belief that brighter days are ahead.
Although inspired by a season, I hope the piece speaks to any moment in life when a fresh beginning feels possible.
