An Almost Cloudless Sky was inspired by those rare days when the sky is almost completely clear, with just a few clouds drifting across the blue. There is something wonderfully peaceful about that simplicity, and I wanted to capture that feeling in music.

The piece unfolds gently through flowing piano figures and a lyrical melody, creating a sense of openness and calm. The tonal centre shifts between C and F, with chromatic harmonies adding to the music’s fluid, almost dreamlike quality, like clouds drifting slowly across an otherwise open sky.
