Autumn Breeze
When autumn arrives on a gentle breeze.
There is something beautiful about the first signs of autumn, when the air grows cooler and the leaves begin to move in the breeze.
Autumn Breeze captures that gentle transition, with a flowing melody that seems to drift and turn like leaves carried on the wind.

Autumn Breeze was written in 2022 as part of the music that would eventually become The English Garden Collection.
I don’t remember a particular story or moment behind its creation, but looking back at it now, I can hear the influence of music I loved playing as a young girl, particularly Chopin. His lyrical melodies and expressive piano writing were a big part of my musical life when I was growing up.
I think that early love of Chopin found its way naturally into Autumn Breeze, particularly in its waltz-like character and flowing, lyrical style.
